GO GREYHOUND in World War II

I'm thinking they're going to need a bigger bus.

Another great vintage World War II advertisement from the November 1943 National Geographic.

  1. I finished reading a book while I was in Seattle - rather, I consumed it. The title is "The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet", and only tangentially involved a "Big Dog" as this mode of transportation was referred to by one of the characters. By Jamie Ford. Excellent book. I'm shamelessly plugging it. Cuz it's good. Also read "The Book Thief", although I do not remember the name of the author. Another winner, although I do wonder about booksellers keeping it on the shelf with a title like that.
