WHICH PAPER DOLL is this?

I've posted this photo at my other blog, but thought that ephemera collectors, especially those who collect paper dolls would enjoy seeing it. What makes this snapshot unusual is that the little girl is holding a paper doll. It's pretty common to find photos of children with dolls, but not paper dolls. I'm sure some eagle eyed reader who collects paper dolls will be able to figure out which doll it is.

  1. Hmmm, looks pretty much like a Little Lady French Fashion Paper Doll. It sure is from around the 1900..(looking at the (sunday) dress the doll weares and long curled dark hair (older ladies weared their hair in knots or pinned up), hat piece, parasol, wide waist band, gloves. But don't have to tell you that I guess ;-) If you search on Google at 1900 Mode.....or 1900 Fashion...you will see. Hope it helps you to find such a doll. Just to show you the date of fashion here a picture from a Dutch famous family (Droste Chocolate Factory) around 1903 > http://www.bertbolle.com/Images/Drost/07/DB-0326.jpg
