This vintage Coca-Cola magazine ad is from a 1940
Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus Magazine and Daily Review. I find it fascinating that it uses a military theme before the war.

In 1940 the war in Europe and in the Pacific had been raging for a long time so even though the U.S. was not yet officially in the war it was on everyone's mind. And a great many of the U.S.' bravest-of-the-brave [but now unsung] young men were already serving in the Canadian and British air forces.
